Alison Owen ((Elizabeth and the forthcoming The Other Boleyn Girl) of Ruby Films is the producer, Pawel Pawlikowski (My Summer of Love) is to direct and John Hodge (Trainspotting, Shallowgrave and The Beach) is the screenwriter.


Young Stalin has been nominated as a finalist for Best BIography in the LA TImes Book Prizes

The paperback of 'Young Stalin' will be published on 1st May. The novel 'Sashenka' will be available in hardback on 30th June.

Simon Sebag Montefiore has also just been awarded the Bruno Kreisky
Prize (Vienna) for Political Literature for Young Stalin.
